Overtime The Bunker SLO has been home to some of San Luis Obispo’s most talented artists. This show was a sampling of some of our past Bunkmates.

Open Studios Art Show

Working with the SLO County Arts Council on the Open Studio Art Tour opening show. This display had pieces from artists all over the county.

Rhythm and Chaos

Anca Browne is a mathematician/programmer and is inspired by geometric tilings . She is making mostly felt wall hangings and now primarily makes geometric abstract works.

Living Mentally Well

Working with TMHA and the San Luis Obispo County Arts Council, The Bunker SLO hosted the Living Mentally Well juried show.

Playful Answers

Featuring the art of Jami Rae and Josh Talbot, this show was a burst of color, fun and toys! Two of SLO’s darlings under one roof. What a dream.

In conjunction with State Parks and The SLO Arts Council we curated a show about what Monarch Butterflies see.

It’s Just Art-A Women’s Perspective is a group show by an incredibly talented women’s group from North County.

Tourist

Alex Hischier (b. 1980) is a painter, sculptor, and writer with a background in international affairs and a master’s in human security. She lives in a lesbian bookstore by the ocean.
